Sukesh Chandrasekhar has written to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, declaring an overseas income of ₹22,410 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25 and expressing his willingness to pay ₹7,640 crore in taxes under India's taxation laws.


Claiming a Fortune: ₹22,410 Crore Overseas Income and Tax Compliance


In his letter, Chandrasekhar disclosed details of his international business ventures, including LS Holdings International and Speed Gaming Corporation. These companies are reportedly registered in Nevada, USA, and the British Virgin Islands. According to his claims, they operate in online and offline gaming and betting and generated a turnover of USD 2.70 billion in 2024.


The businesses allegedly have active operations in the United States, Spain, the UK, Dubai, and Hong Kong. Chandrasekhar also shared his readiness to settle all pending income tax recovery proceedings and appeals in India.
